Many of us find some individuals 'difficult' to deal with, whilst others seem to deal with them effectively. This is particularly important when discussions about change are taking place. There are sufficient tensions in Change programmes without the interpersonal skills creating another barrier. Understanding oneself themselves and others, hugely improves communication and co-operation.
Many changes are as a result of 'Projects'. Alongside their change management process the change teams may need some tools to help them achieve the changes on time, within budget and within scope.
Changes are often part of a shift in corporate Strategy. Allied to the changes are the strategy elements understood? Does the change team need to create a strategy for a business unit within the context of a corporate strategy, or for a department within a division. The tools and process may enhance the Change process itself.
